Diverse Hampton Roads is an organization that helps minority-owned, women-owned, black-owned, veteran-owned, disabled-owned, and LGBTQ-owned micro and small businesses and nonprofits in the Hampton Roads area gain more visibility online and around the area. We offer businesses to list on our directory, we host free networking events and workshops, and we provide informational resources to help them grow. We also allow our members (those who join our diverse business community, the opportunity to have their promotional items passed out at events where we are exhibitors (festivals, community engagement events, etc.) at no cost to them.

Business Review

Diverse Hampton Roads has a heart and is a wonderful resource for the local business community. You’re not just an another member here. The founder takes the time to reach out and gets to know you and your business personally. That’s a rarity nowadays. The meetings and events are well thought out and truly inclusive and supportive. I look forward to seeing its growth in the years ahead as the community continues to expand. As a small business owner, it has been one of the best groups I’ve been a member of and felt truly welcomed. ~ Christy

Diverse Hampton Roads is a fantastic organization. It has helped my small business immensely and provides needed resources to the community and to Diverse members. The collaboration within the organization is one that I have not found in other organizations that provide business resources. Angela is amazing and provides a significant amount support and opportunities to the members of Diverse. Highly recommend for those who own diverse businesses! ~Jinelle

I joined this organization in the summer and have already made invaluable connections. The group is very friendly and it’s not the typical uptight networking group. It’s very collaborative and informative. ~Lakaye
