That Art Store was created to give local artisans a place to display and sell their wares, and for customers to be given the opportunity to buy local handmade creations. We have since morphed into a destination for individuals and families to complete their own arts and crafts. and create memories. We offer many options for our walk in crafting, our take home craft kits, and in shop workshops and classes. We strive to offer arts and crafts learning that is not only convenient, but also affordable.

That Art Store is a collection of over forty different artisans. There is art, jewelry, decor, and take & make crafts available for purchase. There is a section for in-place decorate. There are kid & grown up items. The price on the paint-in-place items includes use of the facilities as well as supplies needed to complete the project same day. The supplies available are: aprons, paint (washable, acrylic markers, dimensional fabric), crayons, brushes, clean up. Tiffany is friendly and everyone was very helpful! This is a safe place for questions and creativity. Definitely coming back! - M.N.
We came for the children’s museum but this store and the people that work there stole the show! The staff was so welcoming and even helped my 3 year old make her own slime in the craft section. I don’t come to Portsmouth often, but when I do I will definitely stop by! - Paul
Kids seemed to have more fun here than at the Children’s Museum next door. They have a variety of “15 minute” art projects for kids as well as some take home kits. It’s all very convenient. It’s worth a stop as you leave the Children’s Museum. - Chris F.
