Equestrian WISH is building a community that encourages growth and learning through horseback riding lessons and Homeschool Horsemanship courses. We offer opportunities for beginners through advanced riders to learn and explore their passion in the horse world. Opportunities to become members of our horse show team are available to those interested but it is not required.
There are 2 beginner horseback riding summer camps and one advanced rider camp offered at Equestrian WISH.
For ages 5 and up.
Dates:
June 24-28 (for advanced riders only)
July 8-12 and Aug 5-9 for beginners
Times: Monday- Friday from 9AM-2PM.
Cost: Camp is $400 per camper, per week.
This is a great camp for those that love the outdoors and love animals. We encourage participants to develop a relationship with the horses and watch their confidence grow throughout the week. Along with riding, we also have crafts and games.
What to bring: Campers only need boots with a small heel and long pants. We provide shared helmets they use while mounted. We encourage everyone to bring a change of clothing for non riding time. Campers also bring a bagged lunch each day.
Because of the progressive nature of learning to ride, sessions are for the entire week.
