About Miles of Love

Miles of Love is a nonprofit with a mission of providing comfort, hope, and financial support to families with a child born with a congenital heart defect (CHD). After losing our son, Miles, at 5-months old, Paul and I were dedicated to finding ways to support families who would walk a similar path to us.

Throughout our experience, we learned that cardiac care for an infant or child is often times far from home and comes with an extensive list of burdens that you do not see coming. We are focused on providing items and financial support to help ease these burdens for CHD families at CHKD and UVA Children's Hospital. You can read Miles' Story, the stories of other CHD patients, and a more detailed list of how we give back on our website Miles of Love.

Hearts of Hope Gala

Miles of Love is holding our first annual Hearts of Hope Gala in Virginia Beach! We will be hosting the event at The Lesner Inn on August 16th from 7:00-10:00 PM. This amazing event will be a night filled with giving back to the CHD community, live music, appetizers, wine/beer, and an exciting silent auction. Join us as we make a difference for the families of these children who are fighting for their life.  All of the details can be found HERE!

Macaroni KID of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake is excited to partner with Miles of Love to give away two pairs of tickets to the gala. Open for entries until July 15th. This giveaway has ended, and the winners have been notified. Stay tuned to your Macaroni KID Chesapeake emails for more upcoming events and giveaways!
